NOTE: macOS users seem to be encountering issues running the game on browser. Try the install instead!

Fans and critics agree... FFXVIII is the best game in the series!

Take on the role of Furn the Blacksmith as you fulfill adventurers' weapon commissions. Choose your blueprint, pick your materials, and decorate!

In Story Mode, you'll meet Furn's friends, fulfill seven story-based requests and unlock blueprints and materials along the way. A playthrough consists of 7 requests and takes between 5 and 20 minutes. (Hey, take your time!)

In Creative Mode, every component is unlocked and no restrictions are applied. Try this one if you're in a hurry, or if you've finished the story but want to make more swords!

Featuring...

Embrace your steel destiny... on the wings of a blacksmith!!

Fire sword looks good

Nice game, maybe it could have had more "puzzle" like elements where instead of straight up telling you it wants a blade made out of slime or water, it just says. "No, like fire beats fire. Anyway, we're fighting slimes.

This is true! When writing the dialogue and reminder text I erred on the side of being too blatant over being too cryptic, but in hindsight I probably should have given the average player a little more credit, lol.

Hello, when I try to run the game, it just freezes the whole browser. Any help?

are you on a mac system by any chance? sadly, godot 4's web exports are known to have issues with macs.

and if that is your situation, this reddit comment seems to recommend trying waiting a few minutes and that it would eventually load, but i sadly have no way of testing that. we'll try and export a macOS build, which should be added here shortly!

update: the macOS build is up and running. as we don't run macOS ourselves, it would be really appreciated if you (or anyone) testing it could let us know if it works!

and thanks for trying our game, either way!

Yes, I was trying to run on the browser. I will try to test it during weekend on the Mac again, but with the install.
