Version 1.1: Now With Even More Numbers
Hey folks! We're super grateful for the positive reception our game has had, especially on the art and music fronts. We also got attention from idle game fans unrelated to the game jam, too, which was a pleasant surprise!
And now, after taking a little break, we're rolling out some improvements people suggested to us during the rating period:
- Band members now play a simple little animation, giving the whole thing a much livelier feel!
- The amount of notes gained per second is now displayed beneath your note total.
- Filesize and initial load time have been reduced.
- Large sprites should now look crisper.
- Rare cases of syncing between the audio tracks should no longer be an issue.
- Various tiny graphical tweaks and improvements.
Note that Version 1.0's PC version is still up, for people curious to experience the game's original jam rating period version, warts and all.
Some people asked whether we would extend this game into a "full" idle game, the kind that is played over hours and days rather than a few minutes. Sadly the game's more experimental musical elements might not work so well in a longer form, though we might come back to the genre at some point if we can put of another fun twist to put on it.
Thanks for playing along with our cool, oversized robot band!
